Greatly rejoice - "That is to be exceedingly glad, exuberantly jubilant. This kind of joy is not based on changing, temporal circumstances, but is used of joy that comes from the unchanging, eternal relationship with God." ~John MacArthur Jr.
Life is full of testing and trials, some times more than other times. Even though trials can be hard and stressful to go through, I am so grateful for them, because they help us to grow ever closer to our wonderful Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God allows trials in our life for our good! Trials cause us to GROW! I am so grateful for that!
"I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."
~Philippians 3:14
Our goal is Christ-likeness! We who are followers of Christ will have a desire to be more and more like Him. We will never fully attain it here on earth, but in Heaven we will receive the prize -- Christ-likeness and be with Christ for ever and ever! What a glorious solid hope!
Let us be growing ever onward and upward!
Stand fast in the Lord!
