Why did God create us? Have you ever stopped to think about that? Thinking about that question helps to put life into perspective.
We are created for God's pleasure and glory. We are all here for a purpose! God created all things and knows each one of us more than we know ourselves. And though "He sits above the circle of the earth,"(Isaiah 40:22) He knows every detail of each one of us and is with us at all times! He knit us together in our mothers' womb (Psalm139). The human body and all of it's intricacies of design points to an awesome Designer! Wisdom was at God's side when God created this world.
Are we seeking wisdom as for hidden treasure? "Hear instruction and be wise, and do not disdain it. Blessed is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoever finds me finds life, and obtains favor from the LORD;" Proverbs 8:33-35

The Bible is the road map for our life. If we are not reading it and doing what it says how will our lives bring glory to God? The world's(Satan's) philosophies and viewpoints are everywhere and it can be easy for us to get brainwashed in it and be thinking things that are not biblical without even realizing it sometimes.
We need to make sure we are filling our minds with God's word and praying for wisdom.

Amen! I am getting back into being "on track" with reading through the Bible in a year. It's absolutely essential to my mind being able to think "rightly". Otherwise I find myself thinking askew so easily. Thank you for this encouragement! (By the way, Amy, I think you have the motivational gift of "prophet", like I do:) Just my observation:)
